ABOUT ME

Hello! My name is Amal Idiris, and I’m a UK based web developer who focuses on writing clean, elegant and efficient code. I'm passionate about bringing both the technical and visual aspects of digital products to life. I enjoy creating interactive digital experiences on the web with code. My ever-growing fascination for programming started from a young age and has now developed into a serious interest. I have a diverse set of skills ranging from developing a simple single static page of plain text by using HTML, all the way to creating complex web applications through using CSS and javascript.

VIRTUAL HOLIDAY

The website that lets you experience the world from home! This interactive app allows the user to experience a virtual holiday abroad.

WEATHER DASHBOARD

A weather dashboard that allows the user to search for a city and obtain the current weather conditions and five day forecast.

PASSWORD GENERATOR

A Javascript application that randomly generates a password based on user's input criteria.

DAY PLANNER

A daily planner application which allows users to add some tasks at specific hours of the day, save them and edit them.

PORTFOLIO

My portfolio page, showcasing some of the work I have created so far over the past few months using various technologies.

CODE QUIZE

A timed coding quiz with multiple-choice questions. Built with HTML, CSS and JavaScript.

Refactored a website to ensure it was accessibility friendly and optimized for search engines.
